Axe Throwing Leagues

What you need to know:

  • Axe throwing is an individual sport played in a group setting. If you sign up with friends, you will play against your friends and all other league members.

  • The Knight’s Den is hosting two leagues for this session! One will meet Tuesdays from 7-9pm and the other will meet Wednesdays from 7-9pm.

  • Both leagues will run for 8 weeks.

  • Participants will have 1 hour of practice time prior to competition (6-7pm).

  • Weeks 1-7 will consist of matches played against other league members.

  • Week 8 will be a playoff week with a competition between top league members and a potluck dinner celebration.

  • Each week participants will compete against other league members.

  • Cost is $130/person for the 8 week session.

  • League members will receive a discount code for axe throwing reservations outside of league meet times. The discount code will give a 30% off discount on bookings for 2 people.

  • The Knight’s Den is a member of and follows the competition rules of The World Axe Throwing League.

  • Each league member will receive a complimentary copy of the WATL mobile app for tracking their league scores.

  • League participation is open to throwers of all experience levels ages 12 and up.

Join us on Wednesday, March 27th for an Axe Throwing League Open House from 7-8pm!

Try your hand at throwing axes (for free!), hear from the current league members, meet the coaches and staff, and learn more about our leagues.

*Open to ages 12+. Please wear closed toed shoes.

How to join:

  • The Tuesday Spring League will run from 4/9/24 - 5/28/24.

  • The Wednesday Spring League will run from 4/10/24 - 5/29/24.

  • Click the link below to open a new window and make the booking using Tripworks.

  • The $130 league fee will be due at the time of booking.

  • Registration will also be available at the Axe Throwing League Open House on Wednesday, 3/27 from 7-8pm.

League Rules:

  • All participants must be at least 12 years old to join the league.

  • Minors aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults with a youth thrower can spectate but must sign a waiver.

  • Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for all persons.

  • Each participant must attend a safety orientation session before entering the league.

  • Only WATL-approved axes may be used during league matches. You may bring your own WATL-approved axe. More info can be found on the WATL website.

  • Respect for fellow participants, referees, and equipment is expected at all times.

  • Throwers of all experience levels are encouraged and welcomed.

  • No aggressive or unsportsmanlike behavior will be tolerated during league matches.

  • Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the league staff.

  • All league matches will be conducted in accordance with the official WATL rules and regulations.

  • Any violation of the league rules may result in disqualification or suspension from the league.

  • Please notify theknightsofeastlake@gmail.com if you expect to be absent or late to a league night. More than one absence per session may result in forfeited games.

  • The Knight’s Den is a family-friendly and alcohol free facility - no alcohol is permitted on the premises.
